Characters
---------------
Tyler: Very bulky Malamute dog, his markings are a lot darker than the usual Malamute dog's, he has a low deep voice and is missing an eye from when he was a police dog. He has a dark red collar with a silver dog tag's dangling from it with his name and a phone number on them.
Sky: Ragdoll cat with dark, moose brown patterns and extreamly noticable blue eyes, yet one has a ring of green around the pupil that fades to her usual blue eye colour, she has a gentle bright blue coloured collar with a golden heart tag with 'S' carved into it in a fancy font. '
Skyler: Persian cat with faded calico markings, sharp green eyes and very thin pupils that make him look naturally hostile, he also has a bad case of Pathological Lying, he was born with six toes on his hind right paw and is usually a very depressed cat.
Quill: White french bulldog with a small lilac bow tied neatly around her neck, she has gentle blue eyes and slightly folded ears with tufts on the end.
Rex: Silverish male Burmese Mountain Dog with various scars from when he worked in the police force with Tyler, the main one being the fact that his tail fur is gone.
Blitz: Brown tabby kitten with grey eyes and a tiny bobtail.
Funk: Black tom kitten with white toes and folded ears with a diamond shape on his head.

Two animals of different species fall in love, Tyler the Malamute and Sky the Ragdoll, they both adopted a kitten named Skyler at a very young age, he knows nothing ofhis dead family or siblings and is convinced that Tyler and Sky are his real parents... How will an adopted kitten feel about being adopted AND having two parents that shouldn't even be together?...

CHAPTER 1: HIDDEN IN THE FOREST.

A cat and a dog, the cat snuggled deeply into the large one-eyed dog's fur. Raising the dogs head he nosed the smallet cat and smiled, giving her a small lick on the forehead before curling his long tail around her again.

The Ragdoll cat spoke up, her light blue collar jingling. ''Tyler, aren't you sad we can't have a chid?'' She asked the large dog, her ears lowering slightly as the dog smiled down at her. He replied momentarilly. ''Not really, if we ever did mate it would be bad for the... thing, if it was born that is, plus, it would be shunned by the other kittens and puppies.'' The dog turned his head away and gazed up at the hazey sky. ''Looks like its about to snow.'' He added.

Sky nosed the dog's shoulder and smiled. ''I guess your right, but it would be nice to have child, dont you think?'' She smiled at him, binking her feminine blue eyes, the dog kept a firm gaze on the clouds and smiled. ''Hungry? I can go try catch you something?'' Tyler smiled down at the Ragdoll cat who gave a quick nod, getting up onto her delicate paws she shook her pelt free of snow that had fallen the night before. The cat smiled and skipped up to the dog who was already at the fence gate. ''I'll come too.'' She smiled and licked the dogs cheek, the dog again only gave a mere nod.

Both of the pets padded out into the forest, Tylet keeping a firm eye on the now snow covered ground. Sky stopped and spoke. ''Tyler, the snow is hiding the scents, its to hazey to find the-'' Sky turned to see her mate was nowhere to be seen, she quickly spotted him in the distance, he seemed a little shocked as his ears were firmly against the back of his skull. The fluffy cat made her way quickly over to Tyler. ''Ty!  Wait up, why are you over here? Did you catch something-is it--'' The cat skidded to a stop in the snow that built up slightly infront of her as she stopped. The dog looked shocked down at the body of a cat, beside it, freshly born lay a tiny, barely concious Persian kitten, Sky's ears drooped also before speaking up,almost paniced. ''Well dont just stare at it Ty! We have to help it before it freezes!'' She yipped then scurried forwards, heating the now mewling kitten with her fur and warm breath.

Tyler blinked his eye and gave a shake of the head before he looked down at her. ''Take it back to the house, Susan and William might let us keep it if you try.'' He nosed her chin up and grasped the tiny kit in his mouth. ''I wonder what they'll name him...'' Sky mumbled as the two began walking back, the she cat stopped then added on. ''Wait, Ty- We cant just leave the corpse can we?'' She looked back at the dead cat who's hind legs were coated in a thick layer of blood. Ty replied quickly. ''Babe, some humans will find it soon, its not our problem, right now we need to help the kit, its what the mother would have wanted. Trust me. We can take it back to Quill first, she's good with newborns, she has-- had her own anyways.'' Tyler took a tighter grip of the kitten as his grip started loosening each time the kitten moved.

Sky hummed softly then nodded, padding up to the Malamute until they were side by side. They continued walking for a moment before they began talking again. ''Ee's cute isn't he Tyler?'' Sky nudged the large dog's shoulder. Tyler perked his ears to signify he was listening. ''Hm? Oh yeah, he is, looks a bit like us...'' He narowwed his beady eye to focus on the kit's dark Persian markings. He smirked a little through the kitten's soft blood coated scruff then spoke out softly. ''We could adopt him... Tyler the 2nd?'' He teased, nudging his mate with a bump to the hips. She let out a breath with a chuckle and shook her head. ''Nooo! Babe, let's be serious here...'' Sky hummed in thought then perked up, yelping out. ''Skyler! We'll call him Skyler!'' She grinned at the one-eyed dog, her tag jingling with her excitable movement. Tyler smirked softly. ''That's a great name love...''
